L1 in Team Building & Personal Skills
The CVQO – led Level 1 qualification is a wonderful introduction to vocational learning for 13 – 15 year olds. The course concentrates on teamwork and personal skills and is mapped to activities already in place with the Youth Organisation. Our initial trials were particularly successful with young people disengaged from mainstream education and on the verge of exclusion from school. These students were in turn more enthusiastic about returning to their academic studies.
