If you’re interested in music and you can play an instrument, you can study for a BTEC Level 2 in Music. And it’s free if you’re over 16!

 

This qualification is the same as four GCSEs at grade A* - C, or four Standard grades at levels 1-3 in Scotland.

The Level 2 BTEC Music will give you an introduction and insight into working within the Music Industry – you’ll also develop your solo and ensemble performance skills, and learn how to plan and organise an event. You will also have the opportunity to develop your presentation skills and investigate a particular area of music.
