Level 3 BTEC in Public Services
The Level 3 BTEC in Public Services is worth up to three A-levels, depending on whether you take the Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma or Extended Diploma.
The course is a mix of theory and practical work covering leadership, teamwork, communications, problem solving and fitness.
You’ll learn some great life skills too - citizenship, team leading and government – and enjoy some brilliant outdoor activities while you’re at it.
You have to be a cadet over 16 to do the course, and there will be some teaching at school, adventure training activities and some weekend training on top of your usual cadet activities.
This is only available to schools and colleges at present.
