I was born in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire in 1962. Then I was educated at Buckie High School. At 15 I joined the Army (Gordon Highlanders then Highlanders), during which time I held a number of instructors posts. The last seven years of my twenty-five years military career I mainly worked with cadets. I retired from the Army at the Cadet Training Centre, Frimley Park as a Warrant Officer Class 1, and then joined CVQO in 2003.

As your Regional Operations Manager, my aim is to ensure that all learners in Scotland on a CVQO qualification or award can achieve the best possible outcomes. I do this by:

Working closely with my colleagues in Scotland and CVQO supporting staff

For you, you're unit or learners to fully make the most of the opportunities on offer from your youth organisations and CVQO, please make full use of me.

Now working from my home in Fife, I am in easy reach of every unit in Scotland.
Please feel free to contact me.
