Over the past year, 6,386 cadets in total registered with CVQO for First Diplomaas in Music, Public Services and Engineering and the ILM Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading with 4,018 (62%) achieving completion. Of those cadets who registered 70% had attained fewer than five GCSEs.

Funding for qualifications in England has been secured for the next academic year from the Young People's Learning Agency (formerly the Learning Skills Council) and also from the devolved councils around the UK.

In Scotland CVQO has become an accredited centre and through the Individual Learning Account (ILA) scheme, young people can access and draw down funding from the Scottish Government to pay for their course.
