On Sunday morning 600 Cadets from the London & South East Region Air Training Corps marched along the Strand in London led by the band of 135 (Reigate and Redhill) Squadron ATC to the Central Church of the RAF St Clements and Danes. 

The occasional was the Annual Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication to mark the 69th anniversary of the founding of the Air Training Corps on the 5th February 1941. The Regional Standard and the Wing Standards of Kent, Surrey, Sussex. Middlesex, Essex and London were received in the Church by the Reverend Christopher Miles RAF (Retd) the Church’s Resident Chaplain.

The Kent ATC Wing Band played a Fanfare as the Standards were marched into the Church. The packed Church heard lessons and prayers lead by Cadets from across the Region. The sermon was given by Mark Russell the Chief Executive of the Church Army who spoke about the value of Youth and volunteering. The Regional Commandant Group Captain Les Hakin OBE RAFR took the salute at the march past.
