Welcome to CVQO

CVQO (Cadet Vocational Qualification Organisation) is a registered charity responsible for managing Vocational Qualifications for members of the Combined Cadet Force, Sea Cadet Corps, Army Cadet Force and Air Training Corps.

CVQO is dedicated to helping both cadets and instructors of the Cadet Forces get ahead personally and professionally. The qualifications on offer have been designed to show employers and educators the wide range of skills that young people and adults learn in the Cadet Forces.

CVQO Regional Operations Manager Steve Mills was present at the Staffordshire Wing Annual Field Day at MOD Stafford recently; presenting the winning prize following a CVQO sponsored BTEC poster competition.

The winner was Cadet Warrant Officer Aaron Dimmock of 435 (Newcastle under Lyme) Sqn. Aaron will soon have completed his BTEC First Diploma in Public Services with CVQO.

The field day was attended by over 400 cadets, and VIPs present included Air Commodore (retired) Bill Gambold, and former Regional Commandant of North Region ATC and Wales and West Regional Commandant Group Captain Dick Allen.

Steve also judged the media competition taking place on the day, which was won by 1206 (Mercian) Sqn.
