Music BTEC cadets from Oxfordshire ACF had the great pleasure of meeting Professor Stephen Hawking recently, during a performance of the Corunna Band & Bugles in Tenby Town Square.
Cadet Lee Harman, who is currently registered with CVQO to complete BTECs in both Public Services and Music, was joined by his band members Iain Rae, who has achieved a BTEC in Public Services and is working on completing the music qualification, Nicola Stanton, who is currently working on both Music and Public Services with CVQO, Niall Robinson, and Elisha Baker, who is currently completing BTECs in Public Services and Music.
The band raised over £400 for charity with their performance, thanks to the generosity of the local community in Tenby as well as the many holidaymakers who came to listen.
Cadets from Oxfordshire ACF are currently at annual camp at Penally, Pembrokeshire, with cadets all over the UK taking part in their own camps at many locations.
