BTEC cadet Jodi Page, of Cambridgeshire ACF, was one of a number of cadets to walk away with an award for first aid from St John, following a ceremony at the Priory Church of the Order of St John in Clerkenwell.

Ten young people were honoured for their deeds in rendering first aid in praiseworthy circumstances, including St John cadets, one air cadet and a number of army cadets.

A further 24 army cadets in the past year have received Young First Aider of the Year certificates, in recognition of their use of first aid in real life.

Jodi Page received a distinction star grade for her BTEC First Diploma in Public Services, of which first aid is an element for completion. Jodi is pictured third from right, and is pictured with the other army and air cadet prizewinners.
