CVQO visited the Armed Forces Chaplaincy Centre, Amport House last Friday.  The aim of the visit was to follow up earlier discussions with Senior Chaplain, The Reverend Malcolm Jones on the opportunities for Army Cadet Force Chaplains to gain access to the City & Guilds Graduateship and Membership Awards.

Padres attending their annual training course made use of the Q&A Forum with CVQO to enquire as to the benefits of the awards, available study routes and eligibility criteria.  With such keen interest from the Chaplains and ideas already coming from the floor as to possible Thesis topics, CVQO are now entering into discussions with City & Guilds to gain the final accreditation.  It is hoped that other Service Chaplains will follow a similar path in due course
