CVQO is to celebrate ten years of delivering vocational qualifications for adult volunteers at the 2015 Graduation Ceremony at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst on 16 October and will open up the event to ILM learners for the first time.
Adult volunteers who have completed CVQO-led ILM qualifications since 10 July 2014 will be eligible to attend and be part of the graduation presentations held in the historic Royal Memorial Chapel and famous Old College Academy.
Guy Horridge, chief executive of CVQO said: “I’m really proud of CVQO’s track record in supporting adult volunteers to help them achieve great things through our professional development programme.
“It is hugely appropriate in our tenth year of delivering adult qualifications that we also recognise the hard work and achievements of those people who have completed not just our City & Guilds awards, but our ILM qualifications too.
“It will be a great opportunity this year for our ILM learners to join the ceremony, enjoy the tradition of wearing the formal graduation gown and being presented with their certificate by our chairman, Lord Lingfield, in front of friends, colleagues and invited VIP guests in such a fantastic setting.”
The online booking facility for the CVQO Graduation Ceremony (and lunch in the Old College officers’ dining room) at RMAS will open at the end of July and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. More details of the event and how to make a booking will be posted on the CVQO website in due course.
