If you’re interested in music and you can play an instrument, you can study for a CVQO-led BTEC Level 2 in Music for Practical Performance.
The Level 2 BTEC Music for Practical Performance will give you an introduction and insight into working within the music industry – you’ll also develop your solo and ensemble performance skills, and learn how to plan and organise an event. You will also have the opportunity to develop your presentation skills and investigate a particular area of music.
This Level 2 qualification is an exciting way to pursue your interest in music and is recognised by colleges, universities and employers.
For members of the cadet services, aged 16-18, in England the BTEC level 2 programme is available for free. Grants and subsidies may be available for eligible cadets in other areas.
Cadets should contact their VQ Officer for details on how to register.
