The ILM Level 2 Award in Effective Team Member Skills is a single unit qualification worth 3 credits, requiring a total of 9 Guided Learning Hours (GLH). It is a simple route to a professional qualification as it can be delivered by organisations in as little as two days.
The course teaches the importance of team members working well together. Learners are taught the fundamental aspects of what a team is and how they develop, the role that effective communication plays and how conflict, if left unresolved, can damage team working.
Learners can undertake this qualification if they are at least 15 years old and if they have gained experience working in a team. This could involve teams in employment, in voluntary roles or within a school team based in a school, college or university.
