Schools Partnership Programme

In 2013, we were chosen by the Department for Education to deliver a new alternative provision training scheme for young people.

Through the use of a proven and highly successful training programme and syllabus, CVQO is able to deliver a nationally-recognised BTEC Level 1 qualification one day per week over a single term as an addition to a school's current curriculum.

Young people learn a variety of skills and competencies including teamwork, citizenship, volunteering and self-reliance.

On completion of the course they are awarded the CVQO-led Edexcel BTEC Level 1 in Teamwork and Personal Skills in the Community.

This initiative is designed for young people aged between 13 and 15 years old (years 7, 8, 9 and possibly 10). The aim is to help them perform to their full potential and places an emphasis on life skills such as teamwork, communication skills and resilience.
